Building Better WordPress Websites For A Stronger Online Presence

I know that having a strong web presence is vital for the ongoing success of your business.

It doesn’t matter if you have a traditional bricks and mortar store, a market stall or if you work 100% virtually over the internet. A good website will increase sales, gain more leads and clients, and it’ll establish your credibility and reputation for being good at what you do.

I also understand that when it comes to creating a new website, there’s a lot of technical jargon that you probably don’t understand or have time to learn!

My mission is to ensure that you are able to have a beautiful website that is simple for you to use and understand.

I offer several ways to work with me including troubleshooting, supported website builds and full website design.

However you choose to work with me, we will start with a consult call to discuss exactly what you need, and then develop a bespoke package to provide the right level of support for you.

This might just be an hours work, or could be a longer project over several months.

“It was an absolute delight working with Sarah to build my new website for Auxilium Admin. After the initial stress of the old site being hacked, Sarah swiftly reassured me that she could secure the site, which she did, and she then quickly set about building a new site for me.

We worked well together on every aspect of the build and Sarah delivered to her plan and more.

I highly recommend Sarah and all the services she provides and as a fellow VA, I know how professional, passionate and caring she is about any work she completes. Not only is she a ‘wizard’ at WordPress and many other automation software, she is a real ‘gem'”

Via video call I will provide training and work with you to resolve any issues – this support can be used for one-off ad-hoc challenges or to support you with building a full website.

All calls are recorded and a copy of the recording will be provided to you afterwards for reference.

Investment – £60.00 per hour with a minimum 1 hour booking

Maintenance and Updates

Find out more

I offer maintenance agreements for clients who are using WordPress regardless of whether or not I have built your site. All packages include the following:

  • Offline backup of your site
  • Updating of plugins, theme and WordPress as required
  • Security and performance checks
  • Cookie Scanning – if you have the appropriate plugin for this
  • Notification of key changes that need to be made in relation to changes in legal requirements for websites – these usually relate to data protection

Investment: I charge an hourly rate of £55.00 per hour for this with the following packages available:

Package One – bi-monthly maintenance – minimum fee of £40.00 bi-monthly

Package Two – monthly maintenance – minimum fee of £26.00 a month

Package Three – fortnightly maintenance – minimum fee of £52.00 a month

The reason for the hourly charge for this is that some months there will be less to do than others for example if there is a major WordPress core update we will have to consider how this affects all the plugins used on the site and this will take longer than months where there are minimal updates.

WordPress Website Development

I design WordPress Websites that are simple to understand and use

I’ve taken the time and training necessary to master WordPress when it comes to creating websites that’ll work well for your business. WordPress is a content management system that allows you to display your web content just the way you want to by utilising “plugins” to deliver just the functionality you’re looking for.

That probably sounds far more complicated than it really is! For more information, you can read about WordPress here.

I’ll have a good chat with you about what you want from your website, how you’d like it to look and how you’ll be using it to ensure that I choose the right WordPress theme and plugins for you. There are some standard plugins that are essential for any website to ensure it works well and I share more about these below.

Investment: from £2000 for a 5 page website

However you choose to work with me, you will have full control over your website, along with full instructions on how to maintain and update it so you’re not left in the dark!

For all WordPress services, I will provide you with a full and transparent proposal after our initial chat to discuss your exact needs and requirements.

Not using WordPress? No problem I also work with clients using Wix and Squarespace so please get in touch to discuss how I can support you with these platforms as well.

“If you are having problems with your WordPress Sarah’s the woman for you. She quickly helped to resolve the problems I was having updating images on my website. She gave me options on how the page could look.

She also gave me instructions on how to update my images myself in the future. Sarah was clear, professional, and friendly. I would really recommend her.”
