What Tech VA Support Looks Like

    When you work with me on an ongoing basis, I become a consistent, reliable part of your business, not just someone you call when things go wrong. I’m thinking ahead, keeping your systems running, and helping you make sensible decisions about the systems you need as things evolve.

    There are three distinct services available. These can be taken individually or combined as part of a retainer.

    Ongoing Tech VA Retainer

    Regular, flexible support covering the day-to-day and the strategic.  

    What’s included:

    This depends on what your business needs, but this typically covers:

    • Regular strategy calls to plan ahead and make decisions together
    • Implementation of new offers, funnels, campaigns and systems
    • Website updates and ongoing maintenance
    • Email marketing management and campaign setup
    • Troubleshooting and problem-solving as things come up
    • Proactive monitoring, I’ll flag issues before they become problems
    • WhatsApp and email support between calls
    • Process documentation and SOPs as your business develops

    Retainer packages start from £325/month for 5 hours of support. Most clients find they need 10–15 hours a month for comprehensive support.

    Business Systems and Process Development

    If your business runs on a handful of tools but none of it is documented, you’re one bad day away from real disruption. This service gets your processes out of your head and onto paper.

    What’s included:
    • Audit of your current systems and how they work together
    • Documentation of your key processes as clear, written SOPs (standard operating procedures)
    • Identification of inefficiencies with practical recommendations for improvement
    • Automation setup to reduce repetitive manual tasks
    • Creation of an operations manual for your business

    Available as a standalone project or as part of an ongoing retainer. As a standalone project it’s priced from £400. 

    WordPress Maintenance

    Keep your WordPress site secure, updated and running smoothly without having to think about it. Available as a standalone service, no retainer required.

     

    What’s included:
    • Monthly or bi-monthly offline backups
    • Updates to plugins, theme and WordPress core as required
    • Security and performance checks
    • Cookie scanning (for sites with a cookie compliance plugin)
    • Notification of any legal or data protection changes that may affect your site
    • Ad hoc content updates actioned within 48 working hours (additional charges may apply)

    From £30 per month. No minimum commitment. Multiple options available depending on update and backup frequency.

    How it works

    Step 1: Book a Discovery Call: we’ll discuss your business, what you need, and whether ongoing support is the right fit.

    Step 2: Receive Your Proposal: I’ll send you a tailored proposal outlining the scope of support, monthly commitment, and investment.

    Step 3: Onboarding: we’ll have a kick-off session where I learn about your business, get access to your systems, and map out priorities.

    Step 4: Regular Strategy Calls: we’ll have scheduled strategy calls (frequency depends on your business needs) to plan ahead and make decisions together.

    Step 5: Ongoing Implementation: between calls, I’ll be working on your business, in line with your priorities – building, implementing, managing, and keeping things moving forward.

    Step 6: Monthly Reviews: we’ll review what’s been accomplished, adjust priorities, and plan for the month ahead.

     

    Investment

    Ongoing Support starts from £325 per month for 5 hours of support.

    Most clients find they need 10-15 hours per month for comprehensive backend support, but we’ll tailor the package to what actually makes sense for your business.

    • Essential Support (5-10 hours/month) – perfect for established businesses needing regular tech support and strategic input – from £325.00 a month
    • Comprehensive Support (10-15 hours/month) – for growing businesses wanting full backend management and strategic partnership – from £650.00 a month
    • Bespoke Support (fixed fee, 6+ month commitment) – for businesses wanting fully integrated, long-term support –from £975.00 a month

    Your bespoke package will be provided in your written proposal and you will know exactly what you are investing in before we start working together.

    FAQs

    What's the minimum commitment?

    Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 months support to give us enough time to make meaningful progress and for me to really understand your business. After that we will review things monthly and adjust or pause as needed. 

    All contracts have a 30 day notice period, so you can stop working with me after 1 month if things aren’t working out as you hoped.

    How do I know how many hours I need?

    We’ll discuss this during your discovery call based on what you want to achieve and what support you need. Most clients start with 5-10 hours and adjust after the first month once we both see how much we’re accomplishing together.

    What if I don't use all my hours in a month?

    Up to 10% of hours can be rolled over with mutual agreement, where required – we know that some months there may be more/less work to do than others and we can have flexibility on this. If you are using significantly less hours consistently, we’ll adjust your package. 

    What if I need more hours than my package includes?

    We can either adjust your package for the following month, or you can purchase additional hours at my adhoc rate of £60.00. I’ll always flag if we’re approaching your limit so there are no surprises, and most clients are happy to adjust deadlines if required so that they stay within their hours.

    Can I pause my support if needed?

    Your agreement is on a rolling monthly basis and whilst I recommend an initial 3-month period, you can pause or cancel your support with 30 days notice. 

    What platforms and systems do you work with?

    I have experience with over 20 platforms including Kajabi, WordPress, Mailerlite, Active Campaign, Teachable, and many more. See the full list here. Part of ongoing support means I stay current with your specific tech stack and learn anything new you need.

    Will you be doing all the work yourself?

    In most cases, yes. Occasionally, if a project requires specialist skills I don’t have (like advanced coding or graphic design), I have trusted associates I can bring in. I’ll always discuss this with you first.

    How do we communicate between strategy calls?

    Primarily via email, though we can use whatever communication method works best for you (Slack, Messenger, WhatsApp, etc.). You’ll have direct access to me, and I aim to respond within 24 hours on working days days.

    Please note my core hours are 9.30am – 2.30pm Monday – Thursday, however I do work until 5pm most days around school pick up and after school activities. 

    What if we're not a good fit after starting?

    It’s rare, but it happens. All agreements have a 30 day notice period, so if things aren’t working out we can end our working arrangement. My goal is always to ensure you’re getting value, and if ongoing support isn’t the right fit, I’ll be honest with you about other options.
